Jason and Monica - Fort Story, VA Wedding Memories

Jason and Monica got married on October 16 last month at the Lesner Inn Catering Club, and the best laid plans were thwarted a bit. I was thinking that in spite of a little bit of rain, we would be able to get outside.

I had bought six matching black umbrellas that day just for those wonderful outside shots…alas, the weather didn’t cooperate. We got some great shots anyway and had a wonderful time!

Fast-forward to this past weekend. I proposed a post-wedding photo shoot to get those nice outdoors and sunny shots for Jason and Monica, and I think we nailed it.

We went over to Fort Story at the corner of Shore Dr and Ocean View, and had a blast getting some great shots near and on the beach.

Because of the recent Nor’easter we had here in the Virginia Beach area, the ocean is still quite rough, and, well, you will see what happened in the pictures…I did not plan that!
