Cathi and Mike are Married!

Cathi and Mike got married May 2 in Philadelphia, PA, and just finding a place to get married was quite a journey!
They called me in late February for a small wedding in Sandbridge, VA on May 9.
That is when things began to unravel.
The house they had rented for the weekend eight months prior got canceled. They called and kept me apprised of their situation, and that in spite of the cancellation, they found another house to rent.
Then next week I got a call from Mike. The second house was pulled out from under them as well! Wow, I couldn’t believe it.
They decided to cancel everything down here in Sandbridge and the Virginia Beach area, and they were moving their wedding date up a week to May 2.
I really felt bad for them that all their plans had been trashed, and so I decided to go up to Philly to cover their wedding. I had May 2 open, and not canceling the wedding would be a win-win for everyone involved.
And so on May 2, they got married at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Philadelphia, and by the love they shared between each other, it didn’t matter where they were. They were pledging their love to each other, and it was my honor to have covered their wedding and memorialize their day in wonderful and moving images.
