The forecast the previous week before their wedding day kept saying, “rain, rain and rain.” Did it rain? No way! It was quite a beautiful day to have a wedding.
And the venue was awesome. Greg and Heather had over a year ago booked October 3, 2009 at Historic St. Luke’s Church in Smithfield, VA, the oldest existing church of English foundation in America and the nation’s only surviving Gothic building.
It is a very well-sought out venue, and so they had just two hours at the church, but we made full use of it.
We then headed for the Hilton in downtown Suffolk, VA. It was a wonderful and very intimate time for both of them and their families and closest friends.
Just after Greg and Heather’s wedding day, I had given a preview of a few shots from this past Saturday below. Beneath these four is the wedding album, a tribute to their wonderful wedding day!
