When we were having record Spring temps this year, I decided to get out there to check out their golf shop.

I’d seen the commercials quite often, and needed to get out to Northern Appleton, Wisconsin to see what they offer. Turns out, they offer a whole lot!

Not only do they sell their signature brands of drivers, irons, wedges and putters, but they have great golf teaching aids and the helpful instruction of Chris and Bob.

I just received my set of Bob Burns’ “No Bananas” driver and irons, and they were custom fit to my hand size and height. I had been in the golf business many years ago, and I never had a custom-built set…my first!

Should you hire a professional wedding photographer or get a friend or family to take your wedding pictures? I understand that when budgeting for a wedding, cost is a factor. Money only goes so far. But cutting out your Wedding Photographer can be costly for years to come.

Most of your guests will have either their camera phone, some sort of point-and-shoot camera, and some will have cameras that professional photographers in Appleton like myself will have.

And they’ll certainly get some fun stuff to be uploaded to Facebook, to be sure!

So the question has to be asked: When you are getting married, is it even necessary anymore to hire a professional wedding photographer?

YES, YES, YES!!! Here a few reasons:

• You Can’t Get it Back. As time goes on, those special wedding pictures will matter more and more. As your photographer, I know from the beginning of the day to the end of the day what will make the best shots. I’ve got the knowledge, the experience and the gear to create, post-process, and deliver amazing pictures throughout the entire day.
• Point-and-Shoots and Camera Phones Lack the Sensor, Lighting and Technical Capability.The small sensors, the tiny flashes, and difficulty in focusing in a dark-ish room will ruin the best moments. They are woefully inadequate to cover a day as important as your wedding day. • Guests are there to celebrate with you! — Sure, they may capture one or two special shots, but your guests are there to party and celebrate with you.
• Disposable table cameras for your shots should NEVER be the option–It may be tempting to place one or two of these disposable film cameras on each table, but mostly it will be the young ones who take the pictures. My wife and I purchased and placed those cameras for our wedding even though we also hired a professional. I am so glad we did because after sending off and receiving back the pictures from those fifteen cameras, we found maybe ten pictures that showed something worth keeping. We had to dump the rest.

My desire is for you to enjoy your beautiful wedding photography for generations to come!

Hire a professional wedding photography and you will never regret your investment.

I had a wonderful time with them and their family and friends the entire day.

We began at Saint Margaret Mary Church in Neenah. Their ceremony was beautiful and elevated their love for one another.

We then rode in Tim’s awesome 1976 Lifetime RV to Dody Park for some fun pictures of them and the bridal party.

We then took a slight detour to Gord’s, but soon arrived at the Holiday Inn in Neenah.

The dinner and party went until after 12:30am, and everyone had a fantastic time. Including the sausages that showed up.

Yes, giant Klement’s sausage characters showed up to dance with the bride and groom!!!
