The winter season is traditionally a slower season for Photographers–especially us Wisconsin Wedding Photographers! Not many want to brave the wintery weather and deep snowbanks to get to the church on time.

I decided to dig through my plentiful piles of beautiful images and pick one to work on. One to step out of the box and create an artistic vision of the image.

I chose this simple and loving picture of Allyson and John. It was from their engagement photo shoot down by the Virginia Beach oceanfront.

Milwaukee Wedding: Congrats, Pat and Wendy Kummerer!

Pat and Wendy were married October 1 of 2011 in one of the most gorgeous churches I’ve ever had the opportunity to shoot a wedding at. The church is called Church of the Gesu, and it was built in the late 19th century. It is a breathtaking structure, and I’ve had the opportunity, since being in Wisconsin, to shoot two weddings there! Pat and Wendy are a wonderful couple, and I truly enjoyed my time with them. Here are a few shots from Pat and Wendy’s wonderful wedding day:
