Family Portraits in Virginia Beach, Christian, Kathy and Family

It seems like I just arrived here in the Old Dominion sometimes.

But it’s been 10 years already!

I first met Christian when we both worked as Web Designers/Developers at a now-defunct automotive website company called Automart.

Christian and I hit it off like we were long-lost brothers…okay, that’s not entirely true. Any of our fellow friends/co-workers probably got sick and tired of my rantings and Christian’s responses to my rantings, so maybe we were the fighting kind of brothers…ah, I miss those days! One thing I learned was that Christian was a quick-witted, intelligent guy and fantastic in just about all things with computers, design and programming. He continued forward to lead an e-commerce company with his skills and expertise.

Kathy came along somewhere in 2001 also as a Web Designer/Developer, and I think it is safe to say that we all just loved her sweet sweet spirit and easy laugh. Yes, and she is also a beautiful woman.

It wasn’t too long before sparks began to fly between the two of them. Yes, love was in the air…exchanging glances. Wait, did I mix two songs into one?

Christian and Kathy proclaimed their love for one another and got married in…I think it was July of 2002*…and the rest is wonderful history! Kathy and Christian, if that is the wrong date, I will amend! (*Amended…:)  )

It has been a very good while since we’ve seen each other besides on Facebook. That is actually how Kathy decided to ask if I was available to take their family portraits, and I was very happy to do so.
